Two-rail model train layouts require special treatment of reversing tracks. Wiring reversing tracks (reverse loops or wyes) is not complicated, but it must be done correctly.

Reversing tracks can be of different forms. Choose a track plan below that best represents the situation on your layout.

 MREV Track Polarity Controller

The MREV circuit module is used for controlling track polarity on two-rail model railroad layouts that have one or more reversing loops or wyes. It is compatible with DC, AC and DCC track power systems.   Can be used on layouts with multiple cab control block wiring.   The MREV has two DPDT reversing relays, each capable of switching up to 8 amps. Control inputs come from train detectors installed in or beside the track.
